www.cooltext.com is great for that, I used it to create the logo for www.alldoneads.com. Go to www.cooltext.com, fill in form select the font style, size, color,design style, select the type output you want, I suggest that .png format and push the render button. In minutes you’ll have a nice logo to use. I used photoshop to produce the logo for www.alldone4u.com, there are many open source tools that will do this for you or you can hire a professional designer. This is great way to demo a site, just to get something out there, but a professional designer is worth their weight in gold.
